Why "no upload" is the whole point
Every server-based tool asks you to trust it with the actual file: a contract, a tax form, a medical record. Even the ones that delete it later still received it, held it, and processed it on hardware you do not control.
PDFree never gets the chance to. The editor is JavaScript that runs in your own browser, so the document is opened, edited, and saved on your machine. There is no upload step to trust, because there is no upload.
